Our Ministries

Services:

We meet weekly on Saturday nights at 6 PM and Sunday morning at 9:30 AM at the Northern Lighthouse Church. Following the service, we join together during the Salubrious time to engage in another teaching led by Ryan Dudney. Sunday school is offered for children ages 4 through 5th grade, and child care is available for children ages 0-3 years old. Lunch is also provided following the Salubrious time.

Nebraska City:

Recently, Pastor Sam and his wife Karen have begun interacting with a new community of believers in Nebraska City. Please pray that God moves in this group.

Waverly:

Pastor Wes and a few of our worship team members visit a nursing home every 3rd week to lead a service. Please pray that God moves in the hearts and lives of those that receive Wes' message.

Charity Autos:

On Saturday mornings, a group of inmates from the Community Corrections Center of Lincoln and a handful of volunteers work on cars by donation and cost of parts only. To receive this service, please call the Northern Lighthouse by the Wednesday and give us a detailed message about your auto repair needs. (402) 477-3550

GreifShare videos include some teaching and shared experiences in a group setting. Terry and Laura Perkins and Lisa Jackson will facilitate these sessions coming Monday night (7-9PM) at the NL. This is open to anyone from the community. The Lincoln Nebraska Re-integration Program has four classes that meet on Monday nights from 7-9 PM. They include Life Skills and Christian 12-step at 7 PM; Relapse Prevention and Purpose Driven Life at 8 PM. Why not consider making this part of your community for growing in Christ and "Positioning yourself for the future?" If you are in High School and looking to grow in your relationship with Christ while living it out among your peers, you are invited to attend the gathering on Monday nights at Tony VanHorn's house (5058 Sherwood Dr.) or call him at 402-730-2663.Understanding the Biblical Narrative: Ever open the Bible and wonder what in the world you are reading? You're not alone! Join us directly following the service as we embark on a ten-week journey through the Scriptures in an attempt to clarify, understand, and weave together people, places, and events in the Bible in order to be better readers of God's epic story! Join us for a meal following the Salubrious time. Be sure and look at the wonderful art that is displayed on the South wall of the church. We encourage you to express your heart to God, using your artistic talent as a means of worship. Pencils and Paper are available on the communion table up front.
